A man was shot to death at a convenience store Bessemer Tuesday night.

The shooting happened at 8:43 p.m. in the 2900 block of Dartmouth Avenue.

The victim was rushed to UAB Hospital where he was pronounced dead, said Bessemer police Lt. Christian Clemons.

Details surrounding the fatal shooting have not yet been released. No arrests have been announced.
