One person was killed after a fire erupted in a home Tuesday afternoon in Baldwin County.

Firefighters with multiple departments responded around 4:45 p.m. Tuesday to a call of a fire with a person trapped inside a house on Highway 104 near Oscar Johnson Park in Silverhill, according to WKRG.

One person died in the blaze, Silverhill Mayor Jared Lyles told the outlet.

Fire departments from Silverhill, Summerdale, Robertsdale, Daphne, Fairhope and Bell Forest arrived on the scene.
