Mr. Electric breaks ground on new office space and warehouse facility in Huntsville

Mr. Electric of Huntsville broke ground on a new 17,667-square-foot building at Cypressbrook Drive, located off Oakwood Road just west of Research Park Boulevard on Wednesday.

The construction project is in phase three of the Brockway Farms development. Building plans include 10,667 square feet of office space with an additional 7,000 square feet for a warehouse on the 1.46 acreage.

Mr. Electric employs 48 people in the Huntsville area, with an additional 29 employees across its other markets.

Huntsville native Keith Pinkerton, Mr. Electric owner, operates additional Mr. Electric locations in Birmingham, Montgomery/Auburn, Chattanooga and Murfreesboro, Tennessee. The combined markets make this Mr. Electric franchise the largest operation in the country

“I can still remember when I was just a single electrician with a truck,” Pinkerton said, “I’m so proud of the team we’ve pulled together—not just here in Huntsville where we started, but in all our markets. I attribute our growth and success to those hardworking team members. We wouldn’t be here, breaking ground on our own building, otherwise.”
