16-year-old boy is 2nd suspect charged in Montgomery man’s shooting death
A 16-year-old boy has been charged in the shooting death of a Montgomery man.
The teen, whose name has not been publicly released by police, is the second suspect charged with murder in the March 30 shooting death of 20-year-old Antarrio Hubbard.
The teen was booked into the Montgomery County Detention Facility Thursday night. He is being held without bond.
Earlier this week, police announced the arrest of 23-year-old Deandre Byers, also in connection with Hubbard’s slaying. Additionally, Byers was charged with drug trafficking.
Hubbard showed up about 7 p.m. that Thursday at a Montgomery hospital. He had been shot and driven there in a personal vehicle.
He was pronounced dead a short time later.
Investigators determined Hubbard was shot in the 400 block of Buford Street.
Authorities have not disclosed the circumstances surrounding Hubbard’s death nor identified a motive.
