Charles Barkley shares hilarious story about losing hotel soap in body part; Shaq can’t stop laughing

Only Charles Barkley, man.

The NBA analyst and former Auburn shared a hilarious story about why he hates hotel soap. Like all of us who have thought about it but never shared it, he believes hotel soap has gotten too small.

Barkley, though, took it to a whole other level during “The Steam Room” with co-host Ernie Johnson when he explained the dangers of small soap. The segment aired on “Inside the NBA.”

“Well, when I was washing a part of my body, I almost had a little incident,” he said.

Barkley and Johnson were asked by a fan if soap is dirty when hits the ground, or is the ground clean when the bar hits it. We’re talking deep stuff here.

Barkley, for what it is worth, said soap is always clean.

That was all the Leeds, Alabama, native needed to start in on his experiences with hotel soap.

Barkley: You know I travel with my own soap? You knew that didn’t you?

Johnson: No.

Barkley: I travel with a big bar of soap. I love soap.

Johnson: Why, are you afraid it’s not gonna be in the hotel?

Barkley: These hotels started being cheap. Those bars ain’t big enough. Because I almost had a couple of accidents with the soap in hotels.

Johnson: In what way?

Barkley: Well, when I was washing a part of my body, I almost had a little incident.

Johnson: What the heck are you talking about?

Barkley: I almost had a little incident with those little bars of soap.

Johnson: Almost lose it?

Barkley: I almost lost it and I was like, ‘WHOA, that was too close for comfort.’ So now I travel with my own big bars of soap.

Kenny Smith and Shaquille O’Neal, after watching the clip, were in stitches, as you can see from the video.
