A suspect is in custody after a person was shot at Gulf Shores landmark The Hangout on Monday night.

The shooting occurred around 9 p.m. Monday, Gulf Shores Police Chief Ed Delmore told WKRG.

Delmore could not immediately be reached by AL.com to confirm the report.

The extent of the victim’s injuries were not immediately clear.
