Birmingham’s Capstone Building Corp. has just completed a $21.5 million luxury single-family rental development project in Shallotte, N.C.

Working with developer EYC Companies, Heartsease at Shallotte is an 83-unit luxury craftsman-style cottage community.

Heartsease at Shallotte is located at 5000 Seaforth St., less than one mile from coastal highway U.S. 17. Capstone Building CEO Jay Chapman said the development was “highly anticipated.”

Units are available in studio, one-bedroom, one-bedroom with a den, two-bedroom, three-bedroom and two-car garage floor plans, ranging from 694 to 1,485 square feet. The development offers single-level living spaces, garages, private yards and driveways.

The development has three acres of community green space, a clubhouse and fitness center, walking trails, a swimming pool and pickleball courts.

Homes have 10 ft. ceilings, den/offices, wood cabinets, quartz countertops, subway tile backsplashes, stainless steel appliances and luxury vinyl plank flooring.
