The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office said one person is dead following a stabbing that injured several people.

Details are few this morning about the incident, which the department announced on its Facebook page.

Two other people were injured, with one being treated by medics, following a stabbing on Village Drive near Hartselle.

One subject has been detained at the scene.
