A new grocery store is preparing to open in mid-April in Birmingham’s Five Points West.

Meat Depot 5 Points will open in the old Winn Dixie building at 2220 Bessemer Road, according to the store’s Facebook page.

That grocery store closed in 2018.

“Get ready for crazy meat deals, flash sales, low prices on name brand items, $5 steak nights and much more!” a post on the page reads.

Affiliated with Fresh Value, there are Meat Depot locations in Sylacauga, Northport and Roebuck.
