To our Birmingham community,

In the first moments of Birmingham Legion FC, our Club chose a mission. As we built the organization, a foundation became clear. How could we help Birmingham, through the game of soccer? We focused on passion for the game, matched by pride for our city and commitment to our community.

This season we’re reaching a milestone, for the Club and for Birmingham. As we approach the 2023 Season and our fifth year in existence, we celebrate reaching a goal no other independent, fully professional team has in the Magic City. Legion FC hasn’t just survived; we’ve thrived but not without challenges. We continue to build. Through five seasons, through COVID, through wins and losses, we have persevered. We’ve made the playoffs each season including hosting a playoff game in 2022, where we saw record attendance.

We believe that growth is because we’re building a club that’s for Birmingham and by Birmingham. Our Club is funded and supported by committed and local Birmingham ownership. We’ve been competitive, winning with passion. But we’ve chosen a path to win the right way with the right people – both on and off the field. And we’ve done good along the way supporting our local community, our local schools and our local charitable organizations. Passion. Pride. Community. These values are at our core.

For our story to continue, for Legion FC to grow, we need YOUR help! The best way to support the players, the Club, and Birmingham is by coming to the games. Protective Stadium is a world class venue with amenties all ages will enjoy.
