A 26-year-old suspect was arrested Tuesday and charged with murder in the fatal shooting of a 32-year-old man in Montgomery, police said.

Denarreo Harris, 26, of Montgomery, is being held without bond in the Montgomery County jail after being charged with murder in the death of 32-year-old Reginald Neal, said Maj. Saba Coleman.

Police and fire medics were dispatched at 11:40 p.m. Monday to the 1100 block of Ann Street on a report of a person shot, Coleman said.

Neal, a Montgomery resident, was found wounded and pronounced dead on the scene.

Coleman said circumstances around the shooting remained under investigation. No additional information was released.
