Huntsville police are investigating a shooting Sunday night that wounded one person.

According to Sydney Martin, a spokesperson for Huntsville police, officers were called to an incident near Memorial Parkway and Industrial Drive shortly before 9:30 p.m. Sunday.

Medics transported one person to the hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening, injuries.

The identity of the victim has not been released.

Police are investigating.
