Class 7A teams take the floor for the first time on Thursday for their semifinal rounds.

That will be followed by the first championships of the week.

Marion County will take on Spring Garden in the 1A girls final at 4 p.m., while Oakwood Adventist Academy battles defending champion Covenant Christian in the boys final at 5:45.

NOW PLAYING, 7A Girls: Prattville (24-4) vs. Hoover (33-1)

9:19 AM, End 1: Hoover scores 22 of the first 26 points to take an 18-point lead, but Prattville finishes on a 7-0 run. Bucs lead 22-11 at the end of 1. Reniya Kelly with eight points already for Hoover. She was on the bench during Prattville’s run.
