Mobile real estate developer talks adding to housing stock
A Mobile native, Taylor Atchison began his work in his parent’s furniture store, Atchison Home. He later struck out on his own, restoring historic homes and later working on larger-scale developments. Today, he has his own company, Atchison Real Estate and Development, and serves on the Mobile City Planning Commission.
Here, Atchison discusses how he got into historic restoration and why his work is important to Mobile.

Tell me a little bit about yourself and what you do.
I am 37, went to high school at UMS-Wright then went to University of Alabama and studied Real Estate Finance. I am married to Sydney Atchison and have a 2yr old Daughter named Frances and have another child due 3/15.
