A Stevenson man has now been charged with criminally negligent homicide in connection with a fatal crash Friday night.
Jackson County Chief Deputy Rocky Harnen said Jairon Rene Tzun Vicente, 23, is being held in the Jackson County Jail following a Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) investigation.
Vincente was also charged with driving under the influence and first degree assault. He is currently being held in the Jackson County Jail on a $250,000 cash bond.
According to investigators, Vicente was driving a 2014 Toyota Tundra that collided head-on with a 2016 Ford Fiesta, driven by Jo Ann Mitchell, 60, of Hollywood, Friday night, on U.S. 72.
