Woman charged in theft of Lady Gaga’s dogs sues to get $500,000 reward

A woman charged in the theft of Lady Gaga’s dogs is now suing the singer over the promised $500,000 reward.

E! News reports Jennifer McBride, one of five people arrested in the 2021 dognapping of two French bulldogs, filed a lawsuit Friday over the money that Lady Gaga promised anyone who safely returned her dogs.

McBride contacted Gaga and delivered the dogs to Los Angeles police, but was charged as an accessory to the crime which included shooting Gaga’s dogwalker, Ryan Fischer.

McBride later pleaded no contest to one count of receiving stolen property and was sentenced to two years of probation.

Another suspect pleaded no contest to attempted murder and was sentenced to 21 years in prison.
