Live Updates: Auburn vs Ole Miss, score and analysis

There’s no need for a long preamble. Auburn (18-9, 8-6 SEC) enters Tuesday’s game against Ole Miss (10-17, 2-12 SEC) seeking to recover from losing four of its last five, but only by a margin of 4.5 points, including Saturday’s two-point loss (67-65) at Vanderbilt.

Bruce Pearl’s team has four games remaining, and Ole Miss is the only one of those four where the Tigers are favored to win. Auburn is tied for fifth place in the latest SEC standings with Vanderbilt. Three of their last four contests are against the Top 4 teams in the league in Kentucky (Tied for 3rd), Alabama (1st), and Tennessee (Tied for 3rd).

The last time Pearl said a game was must-win, the team responded with a blowout win against Missouri. Auburn needs a similar response against the cellar-dwelling Rebels.

We’ll have updates here all night from Neville Arena.
