Huntsville police have identified a man struck and killed by a train Sunday afternoon.

Sgt. Rosalind White of Huntsville police said the victim was Joshua Keith Davis, 32.

Investigators believe Davis’ death was accidental, White said.

The incident happened at about 3:34 p.m. Sunday in an area just north of Dallas Avenue and Church Street.

Police were called to the area and discovered Davis’ body.
