An Alabama man is facing an automatic life sentence without the possibility of parole after a Mobile County jury convicted him of raping a child.

The jury also convicted Cody Lee Ryan Bush, 26, of Mobile, on a child pornography charge Thursday, Fox 10 in Mobile reported Friday.

Bush’s convictions were not yet in court records as of 7 p.m. Friday.

The indictment against him alleged he raped a child less than six years old in 2020, records showed.

The guilty verdicts mean Bush is facing a life in prison without parole when he is sentenced.
