DHR contract worker who left 3-year-old in hot car apologizes to family: ‘I wouldn’t have killed no child’

The transport driver who is accused of accidentally leaving a foster child inside her hot, locked vehicle called the family to tearfully apologize and try to explain what led to the 3-year-old boy’s death.

The woman, who worked for The Covenant Services but has since been fired, made the call to the father of Ketorrius Starkes Jr., family attorney Courtney French confirmed.
