Madison County road work that may slow your commute: Wall Triana, Pine Grove, Slaughter and more
Roads in several parts of Madison County may be closed for improvement in the next few months.
County commissioners are leading nine road construction projects to help ease high levels of traffic across the county.
They are using the federal American Rescue Plan Act funding from the Biden administration to improve roads. The funding must be used by fall 2026 to access the money, if not, they must use county funds to finish the projects.

- Move the intersection north approximately 300 yards and install a bridge replacement/culvert extension
