Heat advisory affecting Southeast Alabama Monday
The National Weather Service issued a heat advisory at 12:09 p.m. on Sunday valid for Monday between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. for Coffee, Dale, Henry, Geneva and Houston counties.
The weather service says, “Heat index values up to 109 degrees expected.”
“Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses,” comments the weather service.
