Walker County crash kills 21-year-old man
Thomas L. McGuff, a 21-year old man from Oakman, was killed in a car crash on Saturday when his truck left the roadway, hit an embankment, then hit a tree.
The single-vehicle crash occurred on Pleasantfield Road near Segco Road, about one mile south of Parrish, in Walker County at about 2:35 p.m. on July 26, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
McGuff was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the agency.
“Nothing further is available as troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate,” Gregory Corble, a senior trooper with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, said in a statement.
