Which team placed the most players on the Media Days preseason All-SEC team?

Georgia and Texas led all teams by placing 13 players on the preseason All-SEC teams voted on this week at SEC Media Days in Atlanta.

The Bulldogs placed 10 players on the first team, one on the second team and two on the third team. The Longhorns had four players on the first team, two on the second team and five on the third team.

Alabama was third with 11 players on the All-SEC teams, followed by Florida with nine, LSU with eight and Texas A&M with six. Auburn was next with five, followed by Ole Miss (4), Arkansas (3), Oklahoma (3), South Carolina (3), Tennessee (3), Missouri (2), Kentucky (1), Mississippi State (1) and Vanderbilt (1).

Ties in voting were not broken. In addition players were eligible to be elected at more than one position.
