Dirt Cheap closing 4 Alabama stores

Discount retailer Dirt Cheap is closing four Alabama locations.

March 10 will be the last day of operations for Dirt Cheap stores in Auburn, Brewton, Ozark and Phenix City. Fourteen other Dirt Cheap locations will remain open in the state.

The Mississippi-based company operates more than 100 across eight states. According to its website, it’s the largest buyer of insurance claims in the U.S., also offering items from manufacturer and retailer buybacks, closeouts, bankruptcies, overstocks, liquidations, customer returns and out-of-season goods.

Stores will be holding clearance sales until closing March 10.
