Heat advisory for North Alabama for Wednesday

The National Weather Service released a heat advisory at 11:14 a.m. on Tuesday valid for Wednesday between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. for Lauderdale, Colbert, Franklin, Lawrence, Limestone, Madison, Morgan and Cullman counties.

The weather service says, “Heat index values of 105 to 109 degrees F are expected for most of the advisory area.”

“Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses,” describes the weather service.
