Police identify man struck and killed by train in south Alabama
A man that died Friday after being struck by a train in south Alabama has been identified.
Mobile police said the man was 36-year-old Devonte Carmichael.
The department said officers responded at about 6:25 p.m. to the 5900 block of Highway 90 regarding a train accident involving a pedestrian.
Carmichael was found dead at the scene.
Mobile police continue to investigate.
