McDonald’s Snack Wrap is back. Here’s what people think

An old favorite is back at McDonald’s.

The Snack Wrap returned to the McDonald’s menu on Thursday after a nearly decade-long hiatus. It’s available in two flavors: Ranch, featuring hints of garlic and onion, and Spicy, which has a habanero kick.

So, does the Snack Wrap taste the same after 10 years? The reviews are rolling in.

A team of writers at USA TODAY had mixed reviews from “just okay” to “pretty solid.”

“There’s no difference to me,” wrote reporter Julie Gomez, who was disappointed the majority of the sauce in her wrap was in a dollop at the bottom. “That doesn’t have any sauce. It’s just chicken.”

Reporter Melina Khan, on the other hand, said that her Snack Wrap was “definitely tasty.”

“(It’s) Definitely an easy thing to grab as a quick bite to eat if you’re on the go or something like that.”

Writers from PEOPLE had nostalgic memories of the Snack Wrap.

-“I remember eating these in the back of my mom’s car when I was a kid and this just brought me all the way back,” one editor said of the Ranch flavor. “The tortilla is extra chewy and not grilled, the ranch is warm and melts into the lettuce. And the chicken? Crispy and tender. No notes, we’re so back.”

“McDonald’s brought back a classic — and they delivered! It still has its same signature taste, with the spicy version tasting just spicy enough to notice the heat,” one editor said. “It’s balanced with ranch dressing as well. You will def need more than one to really feel full, as it truly is a cute little snack.”

McDonald’s lovers can score the Snack Wrap for $2.99.
