Heat advisory in place for North Alabama until Friday evening
On Thursday at 4:35 p.m. a heat advisory was issued by the National Weather Service in effect until Friday at 7 p.m. for Lawrence, Limestone, Madison, Morgan, Marshall, Jackson, DeKalb and Cullman counties.
The weather service adds to be ready for, “Heat index values up to 107 degrees.”
“Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses,” says the weather service.
