Alabama under a heat advisory until Wednesday evening
On Monday at 4:34 p.m. the National Weather Service issued a heat advisory in effect until Wednesday at 7 p.m. for Marion, Lamar and Fayette counties.
The weather service adds to prepare for, “Heat index values up to 106 degrees.”
“Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses,” describes the weather service.
