The highly anticipated season four of Marooned With Ed Stafford is releasing in the U.S. on the Discovery Channel Sunday, June 22 at 11/10c.

Those hoping to catch the U.S. premiere can stream the hit Discovery series through Philo (free trial), DirecTV (free trial) or Sling (50% off first month).

What is Marooned With Ed Stafford about?

For those unfamiliar with the hit Discovery series, Marooned With Ed Stafford showcases the trials and tribulations of the ultimate survivalist, Ed Stafford, as he experiences being marooned at various isolated locations around the world.

The upcoming season four premiere episode follows Stafford as he’s dropped into the savannah along the Orinoco River, one of the largest rivers in the world. While there, Stafford will experience the unique combination of arid savannah, massive black granite boulder outcroppings and dense tendrils of jungle.

The jungle is home to jaguar and puma and a multitude of poisonous snakes, and the waters of the Orinoco are filled with caiman, piranha, sting ray and electric eel.

With no food, water or tools of any kind, Stafford must use all of the survival knowledge that he has to adapt and thrive in the hostile environment.
