Parkway Place Mall‘s newest store – Tradehome Shoes – opened Friday.

Two other businesses – Lovisa Jewelry, and Parkway Hibachi Buffet – are expected to follow suit at the indoor mall off Memorial Parkway.

“We’re thrilled to bring such exciting energy to Parkway Place this season,” Parkway Place Mall marketing director Amanda Homelvig said in a news release. “From family-friendly shopping to elevated dining experiences, we’re continuing to grow in ways that reflect the needs and interests of our community.”

Tradehome is located on the second level, next to Miniso. It is part of a national chain headquartered in Cottage Grove, Minnesota, that includes more than 130 stores in 27 states.

Homelvig describes Tradehome as a full-service shoe store that offers a variety of footwear: Dressy, athletic, lifestyle shoes and sandals from nationally recognized brands.

“This is a brand that does well in several other CBL properties, and we’re excited to have them,” Homelvig said.

Jewelry brand Lovisa is expected to open its doors in the coming days on the lower level, across from Victoria’s Secret and PINK. According to the Lovisa website, the store will offer earrings, necklaces, rings and wristwear, as well as accessories. It will also offer in-store body piercing services.

According to the Lovisa website, the store was created out of a need for on-trend fashion jewelry at ready-to-wear prices. The first store was launched in 2010. There are now more than 900 stores in 45 countries, including Australia, New Zealand, the U.S., Canada, Mexico, South Africa, and European countries.

Parkway Hibachi Buffet will be around the corner, located on the lower level near Belk. It will be the first Alabama location for the chain and offer a full-service sit-down dining experience. The menu will feature a wide variety of dishes, including Chinese, Japanese, American classics, fresh seafood and sushi.

Parkway Place was at 96% capacity at the end of 2024 featuring more than 90 tenants.
