Huntsville police say one person has life-threatening injuries following a shooting this afternoon.

Sgt. Rosalind White said the incident happened in the 5000 block of Galaxy Way.

Shortly after 2 p.m., one person was shot.

White said the victim has life-threatening injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
