‘White Lotus’ actors address feud rumors for first time
There is no feud.
Walton Goggins and Aimee Lou Wood made it clear in an interview with Variety that the two “White Lotus” stars are – and have always been – dear friends.
The actors, who played lovers Rick and Chelsea on the HBO hit’s third season talked – at length – about a perceived feud and Goggins unfollowing Wood on Instagram.
“There is no feud,” Goggins, a Birmingham native, told Variety. “I adore, I love this woman madly, and she is so important to me.
“This is Goldie Hawn. This is Meg Ryan. She can do anything, and she will. You watch what the next 20 years of her experience will be.
“I’ll be on an island, I think Greece. But she’s special. There’s no feud. She is love and I know that I am that to her. We care about each other very deeply.”

The internet and social were abuzz after the two actors unfollowed each other on social media.
“Why is everyone obsessing over Instagram?” Woods asked. “That is irrelevant. We don’t give a sh– about Instagram. Why not have conversations about the story and Rick and Chelsea and enjoy it?”
The two have since re-followed each other for those that are wondering.
Goggins acknowledged in April that being in Thailand while filming the third season of “The White Lotus” was a full-circle moment.
It was one of the first stops the HBO series actor made 20 years ago in the aftermath of his wife’s death by suicide.
“The first island we were staying on,” Goggins told GQ of his late wife Leanne Knight. “I realized, ‘I’ve been on this road before’. And then the next island we went to, I realized, ‘I’ve definitely been on this beach before. I know this boardwalk.’ And all of the things kept coming back.
“That’s where I was the very first day I came here, 20 years ago, and in so much f–king pain, man.”
