Police are currently looking for the individual suspected of shooting a woman in the head in Mobile County.

According to WKRG News 5, Semmes Police Chief Todd Freind confirmed the shooting occurred Wednesday evening on the 7800 block of Hi Wood Circle North.

Freind told the news station that they identified the shooter but he fled the scene of the incident.

The woman was taken to USA Hospital but her condition was not disclosed.
