Kickoff times, TV networks announced for Alabama football’s early 2025 season

Alabama football has kickoff times and the TV schedule for the first four weeks of the 2025 season. ESPN announced the info for the early season on Thursday, as the SEC wrapped up its spring meetings in Miramar Beach, Fl.

The Crimson Tide’s season opener against Florida State did not change, and will be on ABC at 2:30 p.m. CT on Aug. 30 as previously announced. Alabama’s first home game of 2025 is scheduled for Sept. 6, when ULM comes to Tuscaloosa.

That game will kick off in prime time, beginning at 6:45 p.m. CT in Bryant-Denny Stadium. It will be aired on the SEC Network, according to Thursday’s release.

Alabama traveled to Wisconsin last year, blowing out the Badgers in Madison in Kalen DeBoer’s first road game as UA’s head coach. This season, UW will make the return trip to Bryant-Denny Stadium on Sept. 13.

Alabama and Wisconsin drew the early kickoff time, according to Thursday’s schedule release, and will begin at 11 a.m. CT in Tuscaloosa. The game’s TV network was not totally finalized, and the matchup could be aired on either ESPN or ABC.

The Thursday announcement did not include any of the Crimson Tide’s SEC matchups. After Wisconsin, Alabama has a bye week before traveling to Georgia, a rematch of last season’s thriller that the Tide won on an acrobatic touchdown catch by Ryan Williams in the final minutes.

Alabama’s SEC slate is the same opponents as last season, with the locations flipped. The Crimson Tide will close the 2025 regular season in the Iron Bowl, at Auburn on Nov. 29.
