A 19-year-old Lacey’s Spring man has been arrested on several charges after an investigation begun by a school resource officer.

Morgan County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Misael Gonzalo Hernandez-Paredes, 19, on Monday at a residence on Sherbrook Drive.

He has been charged with second degree (statutory) rape, sodomy and production of pornography with a minor.

According to the sheriff’s office, the investigation began after an SRO looked into rumors involving an alleged sexual encounter with a minor under the age of 16.

Hernandez-Paredes was booked into the Morgan County Jail and is being held without bond.
