A grinning, toothy beaver wearing a red cap isn’t just a favorite in Texas anymore.

Buc-ee Beaver, the mascot for the Texas-based chain of stores and gas stations, is popping up in more places across the country. Buc-ee’s has more than 40 locations across nine states and is adding more.

The convenience store chain is planning more locations, reports USA TODAY.

New locations in 2025 include:

• Harrison County, Mississippi
• Brunswick, Georgia
• Rockingham County, Virginia

New locations in 2026 include:

• Boerne, Texas: 2026

According to the Savannah Morning News, the upcoming location in Brunswick, Ga. is set to open on July 1.

Alabama is the number 2 state for Buc-ees

Buc-ee’s opened its first travel station in Alabama in 2019. It opened its fourth Alabama travel station off Interstate 85 in Auburn in 2023.

Buc-ees is opening its first store in North Carolina

According to the Citizen Times, Buc-ee’s is working to build the new location in Mebane, N.C. The store’s opening is planned for late 2026 or early 2027.
