Big change has come to Netflix
Netflix has revamped its interface for the first time in more than a decade.
The streaming platform has announced changes designed to help viewers decide what to watch, reports USA TODAY. Changes include a “refreshed” TV home screen and “responsive” personalized recommendations that can adjust in real time.
In an announcement, Netflix described the new experience as ” a simpler, easier, and more intuitive design — to help our members easily find something great to watch.” In the coming weeks and months, Netflix members across the world will get to experience the updated TV homepage, the company said.
“When we first started thinking about this project, we wanted to create an experience that was more flexible for our broad entertainment offerings, more intuitive and responsive to our members’ needs, and capable of elevating the most thrilling moments on Netflix,” said Netflix Chief Product Officer Eunice Kim.

- More Visible Shortcuts: Shortcuts to Search and My List were hidden on the left-hand side. Netflix is moving them to the top of the page where they are easier to access.
- Better Realtime Recommendations: Netflix is making the recommendations on the homepage more responsive to moods and interests.
- Elevated Design: The new homepage has a clean and modern design.
