If you want to keep playing, here’s the plan

Thompson earned its spot in the championship series by beating Sparkman 5-4 in a contentious elimination bracket game. Fans, players and coaches on both sides were jawing the entire game, prompting an unprecedented stoppage of play by AHSAA softball director Kim Vickers, who told coaches to make the silliness stop immediately. Her intervention was timely and calmed all involved. The Warriors went on to down Tuscaloosa County twice to win the title.
