Walgreens closing 29 locations this month: See locations

Drug store chain Walgreens continues to downsize as it looks to shutter more than a thousand stores over the next three years.

The “underperforming” locations are typically those where the property is owned by the company or where leases are expiring. The chain plans to close 500 locations this year.

The CVS rival operates more than 8,500 locations in the U.S.

According to RetailWire, 29 of the closures in 13 states will take place in May alone. The locations set for closures this month are:
