A Friday morning crash has claimed the life of a 59-year-old Andalusia woman and injured a 13-year-old in Covington County.

Alabama State Troopers said the two-vehicle crash occurred around 10:35 a.m. at the intersection of Cantaline Bridge Road and U.S. 84, about one mile west of Babbie, in Covington County.

Teresa Kirkland McIntosh, 59, was killed when the 2022 Hyundai Accent she was driving was struck by the 2025 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Randall Eugene Copeland, 65, of Andalusia.

McIntosh was pronounced dead at the scene. A 13-year-old passenger in her car was injured and transported to an area hospital.
