Canned vegetables sold at Walmart recalled in 23 states

Tennessee-based Vietti Food Group is recalling 4,515 cases of its Yellowstone Brown Sugar Molasses Baked Beans sold in 23 states due to the presence of undeclared soy.

People with an allergy or severe sensitivity to soy risk serious or life-threatening allergic reactions if they eat the beans, federal officials warned.

The beans are part of a food line inspired by the popular neo-Western television show “Yellowstone.” The line includes coffee, sauces, seasonings, and rubs.

According to a report from the FDA, the recall covers beans packaged in 15-ounce cans with a “Best By” date of Feb 17, 2028.

Beans were sold in: Arizona, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia.

No illnesses have been reported to date but consumers who bought the affected products are urged to return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
