The brand new high-energy racing series Red Bull Soapbox Race premieres on the Discovery Channel Tuesday, April 29 at 9/8c.

Hosted by NASCAR Hall of Famer Dale Earnhardt Jr. and motorsports announcer Mike Bagley, Red Bull Soapbox Race focuses on a competition in a different city from around the world where everyday people transform into daredevil engineers as they battle to be the fastest to the bottom of a nearly half-mile course.

Participating cities for the all-new sports series includes London, Des Moines, Dallas, Edmonton, Johannesburg, Madrid and San Paolo. From water features to intimating “bone rattler” and “finale kicker” sections, no two events are the same and every track presents its own distinct challenges.

With each race, teams are judged on speed, creativity and showmanship as they try to beat out fellow competitors for the highly sought after trophy along with ultimate bragging rights.
