Eagles QB Jalen Hurts’ decision to skip White House, Trump visit sparks online debate
Jalen Hurts was not in attendance when the Philadelphia Eagles visited the White House on Monday to celebrate their 2024 NFL championship.
The former Alabama and Oklahoma quarterback, it was reported, would not be among the Eagles at the ceremony, with the White House saying Hurts and other players who would not be there had “scheduling conflicts.”

“It doesn’t need to be scheduling conflicts, I wouldn’t go if everything was peachy with Humpy Dumpty tRump. Not once did he walk over to the Eagles side to talk with them like he did the other team. He should not have shown FAVORITISM to one team and not the other in public, do that behind closed doors and when in public do what is right as a President and say Good Luck to both teams. He’s such a POS, nobody needs to bow to him.” – Diana Coston
“Never been disappointed in Jalen until now. Very.” – Joan Alexander Bruce
