‘My Happy Place’ series premiere: How to watch, where to stream free

The brand new travel series My Happy Place premieres on CNN Sunday, April 27 at 10/9c.

Produced by Boardwalk Picture, the new CNN original series My Happy Place takes viewers on an immersive trip around the world. Alongside six different star-studded hosts including Alan Cumming, Billy Porter, Octavia Spencer, Simu Liu, Taraji P. Henson and Questlove, viewers will tag along as each host reflect on meaningful sites and what they mean to them through six episodes.

Emmy® and Tony® Award winning actor Alan Cumming hosts the debut episode of My Happy Place, and Cumming plans to give audiences insight into the beautiful landscape that is the Scottish Highlights.

According to a CNN press release, Cumming grew up in Scotland and the Highlands “were a place where Alan Cumming went to escape.” Even now as an adult, Cumming cherishes the Scottish Highlands as they provide him with a “new sense of belonging, connection and joy.”

Following the show’s debut episode with Cumming, Henson will take viewers to Bali, Indonesia, Questlove will showcase Austin, Texas, Billy Porter will show the wonders of Mykonos Greece, Octavia Spencer will share the liveliness of New Orleans, Louisiana and Simu Liu will round out the series with a trip to Bangkok, Thailand.
