Hallmark is leaving Peacock May 1: Here are your other streaming options

Hallmark content is leaving the popular streaming service Peacock on May 1 after a successful three-year partnership.

Though Hallmark is removing its content from Peacock next week, those who have already ditched the hassle of traditional cable can still stream the network’s content through other streaming services including Philo, Fubo, DirecTV Stream and Sling.

Though all four streaming services offer the Hallmark Channel, Philo stands out as the best deal when it comes to streaming fan-favorite Hallmark original series and movies such as When Calls the Heart and The Way Home.

Through Philo, users can stream Hallmark movie premieres and new episodes of your favorite Hallmark original series same day. As a bonus, those new to Philo can enjoy a 7-day free trial before committing to a paid plan, which only costs $28 a month once the free trial expires.

What is Philo?

As mentioned above, Philo is one of the cheapest traditional cable alternatives on the market. With over 70 live TV channels to stream, including the beloved Hallmark network, subscribers never have a shortage of trending and popular content to explore.

Some of the top live TV channels available for streaming through Philo include MTV, TLC, BET, A&E, AMC, CMT, Investigation Discovery and more. Those looking to further tailor their content specifically to them can explore add-on options through Philo.

Along with thousands of hours of content available for streaming, Philo users can take advantage of key features such as the unlimited DVR feature, which allows subscribers to record their favorite content without having to worry about having enough storage.

What is Fubo and DirecTV Stream?

Fubo and DirecTV Stream are another two streaming services steadily replacing traditional cable services.

Both offer free trials to new subscribers, a plethora of popular live TV channels, on-demand streaming options and helpful features such as unlimited DVR storage.

Fubo is considered a sports-focused live streaming service, but on top of its stellar sports coverage, it includes over 100 live TV channels through its base package at $84.99 a month after its free trial.

DirecTV Stream is similar to Fubo as it offers many of the same channels and helpful features. Its base package starts at just $86.99 a month after its 5-day free trial.

Popular live TV channels available through both Fubo and DirecTV Stream include Bravo, BET, ESPN, ABC and more.

What is Sling?

Sling is another option to turn to if you’re looking to access the Hallmark Channel if you’ve already ditched cable. Though no free trial is available, Sling offers new subscribers half off their first month and one month free of AMC+.

Plans start at just $45.99 a month, but with the ongoing promotion offering half off your first month, you can start streaming with Sling for just $23.
