Woman shot, seriously injured in shooting at west Birmingham apartment
An investigation is underway after a woman was shot late this afternoon in west Birmingham.
The shooting happened at 5:32 p.m. Thursday at the Elyton Village public housing community on Third Avenue West.
Authorities said the shooting happened inside an apartment.
The woman was taken to UAB Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police are looking for the suspects. No arrests have been made.
