A brand new season of the hit crime-drama Godfather of Harlem premieres on MGM+ Sunday, April 13 at 9/8c.

According to a brief synopsis released by MGM+, season four of the hit series follows Bumpy as he battles the Italian mafia for rights to Harlem while facing off against a new rival named Frank Lucas. Also on this season, viewers will see Bumpy as he struggles with Elise’s ties to the Black Panthers.

The season four premiere episode titled “New Harlem” follows Bumpy and his plans to open a new club in Harlem. Along the way, he faces financial problems as he tries to fund it while excluding the heroin business.

Elise also faces her own struggles in this episode as she testifies in the Malcolm X murder trial where three innocent men are accused. Meanwhile, Stella negotiates a business deal between Colombo and Chin.
