‘Doctor Who’ season 2 premiere: How to watch, where to stream free

Season two of the hit action-adventure series Doctor Who premieres on Disney+ Saturday, April 12 and will be available for streaming starting at 3 a.m. Eastern Time (2 a.m. Central Time).

Season two includes eight episodes with new episodes premiering weekly on Saturdays, and according to a press release from Disney, this season will center on The Doctor meeting Belinda Chandra before beginning an epic quest to get her back to Earth.

Along the way, though, a mysterious force halts their return leading the time-traveling TARDIS team to face “great dangers, bigger enemies and wider terrors than ever before.”

Also happening this season, Emmy® Award winner Alan Cumming (known for his sassy role as host on The Traitors) guest stars in the second episode. During his time on the show, Cumming will portray Mr. Ring-a-Ding—a funny cartoon who lives in Sunny Town with his friend Sunshine Sally.

Ncuti Gatwa, Varada Sethu and Millie Gibson star in the upcoming season with guest cast appearances from Rose Alying-Ellis, Anita Dobson, Christopher Chung, Jonah Hauer-King, Jemma Redgrave, Ruth Madeley and Susan Twist.
